Cyprus will swelter on Thursday with the met office issuing an extreme high temperature warning.In an alert posted on its website on Wednesday afternoon, the met office said that the maximum temperatures is expected to reach around 40 C inland and 32 C over Troodos; higher peaks.The yellow alert is in force from 2 pm to 4.30 pm on Thursday, May 23....

Well the weather forecast for the Paphos Coastal Area for tomorrow according to Weather underground is around 30c! This happens every summer that the temperature headlines in the local media are for Nicosia and the inland areas.

Well, when I was TODAY not too far away from Paphos coastal area, in the Dhiarizos valley near Souskiou, the temperature was 2 PM already 35c! This has nothing to do with Nicosia temps... and the forecast for tomorrow is even 5c higher
