Weird morning 5.30,with temp. 23.5c

Post by cyprusmax47 »

Woke up this morning and realized the change in temperature when I walked the dog 5 o'clock and it was 23.5c with 20% humidity only. What a difference to yesterday when it was only 11c and 90% RH. Is this the start of this years summer? I doubt it. There is some rain forecast in the next days.

Just heard in BFBS's weather report that Troodos Olympos forecast is 23c today and the remaining snow there will quickly disappear...

Anyhow also the sky showed a weird mood when the sun came up behind Troodos now...

For reasons I explained already in a different post, I will reduce the amount of photos I am posting and starting today..... that's the essence out of 50 pics I shot this morning...

I think you might have misunderstood what I meant Max. While mobile users won't like opening a thread with 20 big pictures, I think they can cope with more than 2! The blogs use 5 per page. Perhaps you could try that, for the General section, but first, make a bigger thread in the Photo section. So your workflow would be:

1. Make a post in the picture section with all the pics you want to use.
2. Make a post in the general section showing 5 of them. They could be the first five, or a selection. Up to you.
3. Include in your general post, a link to the thread you created in the picture section.

That way, mobile users will be able to get a taster before doing a big download, so to speak. They can then open the other thread when they are in a free wifi zone.

I am adopting a similar strategy to my blogs from now on. The first page will have a selection of pictures from the rest of the blog. In the case of the blog, this is because, and especially if I am doing a destination blog, the first page might not be that interesting, and concentrate on how you get to a certain place. This will make more sense when I publish my next blog and you can see it in action.
