Ouch. I looked at their T shirt section. It had never occurred to me that somebody would ever be prepared to pay more than £30 for a T shirt. Let alone £300.

London's Oxford Street Selfridges Department Store was established by Harry Gordon Selfridge in 1909 and is famous around the world. Especially now as its founder and the store are the subject of a successful book and TV period drama. Certain smaller electrical goods retail shops have tried to cash in on the name and reputation of the bigger store by trading under names that at first glance look similar. One is called "Sellfridges" and the other is called "Sell Fridges".

I struggle to understand why anyone would pay more than £10 for a tea shirt - dont get me started on the cost of handbags. Totally ridiculous consumerism, and more money than sense.
