The shocked Cypriot society is watching the shocking developments surrounding the Orestis affair.

From 10am on Easter Sunday, members of the Fire Brigade, divers as well as individuals using a robotic camera, are preparing to try on both points in an attempt to locate the remaining bodies of the Cypriot by a serial killer.
In Red Lake the boat is preparing to enter to pull the two suitcases. In Xyliatos the divers are still trying to use a saucer.
In the area of Red Lake, the police chief, Zacharias Chrystostomou, accompanied by the head of the TAO of Nicosia, was found in the morning. After being informed, he left.
Yesterday, two items were supposedly found in the Red Lake in Mitsero, which are supposed to be suitcases in which the 35-year-old head of the National Guard admitted putting the bodies of three people. According to his confession, 36-year-old Livia Florentina Bounea and 8-year-old daughter Elena Natalia from Romania and 31-year-old Marikar Valdez Arquila from the Philippines.
The removal of the pouches from the toxic lake will be done using scuba diving. Fire Director Markos Tragolas had stated that "if necessary, a diving boat will be dug, as the objects have not been found in great depth."

Along with the researches in Red Lake, research continues at Lake Meiji in Xyliatos to locate 6-year-old Sierra, Mary Rio's daughter from the Philippines.

Meanwhile, the internet tour makes yesterday and today photographs and videos of recent years from Red Lake, depicting objects that resemble suitcases protruding from the water. But it is difficult to confirm the correlation at this stage.

Suspicions for action in the occupied areas

After the horrific confessions of the seven murders in the free areas, the authorities of the pseudo-state began to study murders of foreign women in the occupied area, as the Ilarchus often seemed to have crossed the green barricades and visited the pseudo-state.

The origin of his family, from his father's side, is from the conquered village of Dikomo, while his mother comes from Bulgaria.

The pseudo-state authorities are focusing on the murder of the 40-year-old Vietnamese, Dam Thi Ho, who had disappeared in October 2017, and its body was found near the airport of Tyumo's illicit airport in the occupied area in January 2019.

There is a suspicion of a possible murder of the woman by Orestis due to the characteristics of the crime. Information has already been transmitted through the Bicommunity Committee on Crime and is being examined by the Cyprus Police and this case.

Surveys on Saturday

The two suspected objects were spotted shortly before 2pm by the high-definition robotic camera that a private company placed in the Authorities. A little later, the TAO investigators transferred the 35-year-old military to the scene, pointing them east to the lake and then leaving.
EMAK men with a boat placed buoys to mark the signs. As the Firefighter chief Markos Tragolas said, the two objects "reasonably suspect that they are the objects we were looking for," adding that it was "signaling the objects" so that today, at about 10:00 am, "start the process of retrieving them to see what things are going, "suggesting that they are two travel luggage. He stressed that the investigations would continue "to find the third item", while he assured that the haul would be "with all due care and aim to retrieve the objects just like on the bottom".
Preliminary testing of the lake's water was preceded by experts to see if a diver could get in.
Mr. Tragolas explained that until this morning he will expect "the results of water quality, as it is a very important element since it has a direct relation to the safety of the divers". This is because, as he said, "depending on the quality of the water, it will also be the suit of the diver who will wear along with the head airborne diving shoe", in order to divert a diver and pull the suitcases which "have not been found in great depth".
With regard to the investigations at Lake Mezimi in Xyliatos, to find 6-year-old Sierra, daughter of Mary Rose of the Philippines, which was held yesterday morning, the Fire Brigadier said "we did not have any results" and that they will continue and today alongside the Red Lake jobs. He also said that there was an object that was sent for examination "and we expect the results without hope for something positive. We just look at some things that are inconsistent with the environment there. "

Ahead of the Court

Earlier yesterday morning, the 35-year-old head of the National Guard was taken to the Nicosia District Court. Anarchist and constantly bent over the head heard the Court, renewing his detention for another eight days for seven cases of kidnapping and murder by premeditation.

Security measures in the Court were draconian. The room was packed, with police officers checking all the people and journalists who went to watch the process.

Without bringing an objection at any point in the legal proceedings, the 35-year-old head of the National Guard simply said, "I do not object. I agree "when the judge asks him if he agrees with the police request for his 8-day detention.

The military, unhurried, was driven shortly after 10 am in the courthouse with escort police. He was brought before the court without a lawyer, as he did the previous time.

In his testimony before the Court, Deputy Minister Yiorkatzis stated that the suspect faces offenses of premeditated murder and abduction for the purpose of murder, with seven persons being killed, offenses committed from 30/9/2016 to 26/04/1989, 2019 in the provinces of Larnaca and Nicosia.

The investigator then filed the entire story about the localization of the first corpse found in the well in the mine at Mitsero, that of 38-year-old Mary Rose of the Philippines.

He also referred to the disappearance of Arian Palanas Lañez, 28, from the Philippines, whom the 35-year-old military admitted to murdering.

Mr. Yiorkatzis explained that during the investigations the suspect's telecommunication data was lifted and he found out that he had communications with Marikar Valdez Arkouiola, 31, who also disappeared, and then the suspect admitted to an oral questioning of the murder of three other persons, bringing the total number of victims to seven.

As long as the police investigator lodged, the 35-year-old was armed.

Police have called for a 8-day detention order for the suspect. The judge then asked him if he agreed and the 35-year-old just answered "yes".

The TAE Officer of Nicosia also said, among other things, that the suspect asked himself and wrote in ten pages the killings of all seven victims.

For his part, the lawyer of the Republic, Marios Koutsoftas, on behalf of the Prosecutor's Office testified that the reasons for the detention of the suspect were inherent in referring to old cases and agreed with the request of the Police.

So far, 250 deposits have been received, while 150 are still missing, while Authorities are looking for another vehicle of the suspect, which, according to what Mr Yiorkatzis has submitted, is expected to show testimony.

Announcing its decision, Judge Natia Mathocoloni referred to the principles and jurisprudence governing the exercise of the power to issue a detention order by the Court of Justice.

The burden is on the shoulders of the Police, he said, to show that there are reasonable suspicions, that the investigations have not been completed and that the detention of the suspect is necessary. He adds, which increases when a previous decree is being renewed, since the Police will have to prove further that the time previously given by the Court has been properly utilized and that the extension of the detention is reasonably necessary for the remaining inquiries.

The judge, recognizing that there is a criminal investigation in progress and considering it necessary to further detain the suspect, has issued against him a decree of eight-day personality.

For his part, the 35-year-old military did not object.

He named the seventh victim

In his testimony before the Court of Justice, TAE Nicosia's deputy, Ioannis Gjoraktzis, reported that the suspect gave the investigators handwritten notes among which he named his seventh victim, whose body had been located on Thursday in a pit at the Xionos Field Orandu. It is the Katos Anos from Nepal and it is expected that the necropsy will be done by assembling the bones to verify its identity.

According to the Alpha Cyprus television channel, it is Asmita Khadka Bista, 30 years old from Nepal, whose traces were lost from Nicosia about a year ago. Her friends and relatives had denounced her disappearance at the Nepalese Consulate in Nicosia, saying she was working in a home, and then she left and stayed with a girlfriend.
Then suddenly she disappeared, while her personal belongings and her passport were at home. They also said that on the day he disappeared he had boarded a white car, he has not given any sign of life since.
