He must have a good sense of balance to be able to ride a bike in that state! But he must have been a danger to himself, let alone others. Guilty as charged methinks!

I believe this is still a crime on the statute book in the UK.

I think in the UK you can be fined for being drunk in charge of a bike. You certainly would not be breathalyzed. There are new laws in Cyprus for bikes. The penalty for riding under the influence is quite hefty.
