Pancake Day
Pancake Day
Never miss it, my favorite, Real Maple Syrup and Whipped Cream, wife has lemon and sugar, do you guys eat pancakes today, and what do you put on them?.
Re: Pancake Day
Thin pancakes with dark brown sugar and lemon juice. I usually have two pans on the go so we can eat them at the same time!
Re: Pancake Day
Apparently some people in the UK have their pancakes at BREAKFAST on pancake day. Can you believe it???

Forgot to say, I prefer the American ones thick and fluffy rather then the thin ones, Happy Tossing people.

Re: Pancake Day
We bought a crêpe pan last year but it hasn't been christened yet... The pancake mixture was prepared last night all ready to thicken for today.
My husband doesn't do "sweet" but he's indulging me on this one as he's the chef in our house.
Fresh lemon and sugar is on hand.
I've got myself a squeezy lemon to take with me to Morocco just in case there's no lemon at the various places we will stay. Pancakes are served everyday for breakfast. Roll on this time next week!

Re: Pancake Day
We had Mum round just after lunch today so we all had 3 each - with lemon and sugar but a "test" one with a little cinnamon tossed in the pan before the mixture was added. Not bad, but I still prefer just plain lemon and sugar xx
