Labour held Stoke-on-Trent with a reduced majority and a reduced turn out (39%) UKIP second with Conservatives in third place with an increased 2% result (the last two very close).
Sorry Geoffreys your party lost.
The other result is still awaited but believed to be very close.

Seems the bad PR about Paul on his website was the main reason.Rita Sherry wrote: ↑Fri Feb 24, 2017 4:42 am Labour held Stoke-on-Trent with a reduced majority and a reduced turn out (39%) UKIP second with Conservatives in third place with an increased 2% result (the last two very close).

We'll take it at the next General Election hopefully.

Re: Stoke-on-Trent By Election Result
This is true, so maybe for the next General Election we should go for/could go for a Conservative/UKIP coalition?
This would ensure we didn't have a Labour or Lib Dums Govt in the foreseeable future.
Geoff.
Re: Stoke-on-Trent By Election Result
I see the turn out was dismal, not down to Doris in my opinion but just sheer apathyfrom Stoke residents(my home town) Stoke has been forgotten and as far as I can see seems to have missed out on any sort of Goverment funding.

Re: Stoke-on-Trent By Election Result
I'm waiting for the lefties to complain that Labour 'didn't win the popular vote' or 'only got voted in by 14% of the electorate', etc.
There must surely be a second vote to rectify this travesty...?
