The stamps to ask for are revenue stamps; 2 Euro for a Notary document and 5 Euro for Apostille. Jeba is correct when saying to dial a Cyprus number in Cyprus with a UK phone use 00357 or connecting to a UK phone use 0044.
Jim
How come the cost of these stamps is so low now ?
They used to charge a fee that was a percentage of the rent , I have only ever had stamps on one rental agreement , that was 9 years ago and cost me 50€ .

No idea Mr Blobby; we've had to have several documents both notarized and Apostille'd recently and that's what we were charged. Did you do it yourself or use a Solicitor?
For clarification regarding the phone calls. I did pre-fix the calls with +357. I was in telecoms most of my career, but you were not to know that. When I dial '99' numbers from my BT phone it simply dis-connects before even receiving a ring tone. It may just be a BT thing, but it did cause problems trying to contact the Mukhtar.
