I accuse some hundred-odd Tory politicians of blatant hypocrisy. One night they vote effectively against Mrs May's policies. The next night, they vote for them. Why? Simply because they were scared stiff of losing their seat if there were a General Election, and their magnificent salary plus expenses. I cannot believe that they all had a change of heart in exactly 24 hours. They were simply being politicians looking after their own interests, as per usual.
In the words of Emil Zola, when France was in crisis over the Dreyfus affair, j'accuse many of the Conservative MPs of blatant hypocrisy. I add the Democratic Unionist Party, as well, to the list.
