We were at the dentist when it happened, but observed what looked like piles of snow on the back road into Polemi.

Played some pooh sticks on the new river.

Kissonerga looks like it's been hit by a random snow storm!!!

I'm at the east end of Kissonerga, where it did rain hard, but no hail

We had a couple of loud thunderclaps in Chlorakas looking over towards Coral Bay one could see the storm. We had heavy rain here instead. Looking at the poor quality webcam picture of the Troodos ski slopes today, it looks like they were getting plenty of snow! Good news ultimately for the reservoirs when the snow melts. Yipee!

I'm with you Dominic, Wunderground is my favoured weather station, and it don't look good! Some good days next week, but interspersed with rain. Which I can stand - my roof can't! But thunder and lightning is a huge problem for me, under the table with the duvet over my head! Hate it hate it!!! Terrifies me.

National news just reporting now that Paphos will be in the centre of the imminent storm!!!

Not seen anything yet, all calm down here in ToTK ………………… even the cats are out!

I went up early to do some thunder/lightning pics, but the front 4.45 AM went as quick as it came with ca 50 lightnings over Cyprus. Unfortunately I managed only some decent photos as most of the strikes where above a thick cloud and the ones which came very close to my house appeared too bright on the pic and worthless. (I am bloody tired now though)

And just had a powercut as a result. Rather sweet. Had to resort to playing my old guitar until the power came back.

Overcast,Strong winds,Heavy driving rain, Lightening, Thunder. All happening here in Chloraka. My prediction for what it is worth.

Cloud cover will clear by Mid Morning. Frequent Light showers during the day. I predict this from observations only.

It was correct last night when it showed heavy rain at 4.30 AM, unlike other forecasts which showed rain all the night from 6 PM...
After the thunder and strong rain it showed 6.30 AM it will be clear.. and it was, so I had a walk with my dog that time without any drop of rain, but it heavy rained just after I came back... as predicted
