Watch out folks. I have caught a virus. Dry hacking cough-painful. Headache. Aching all over.

Just got over it. Took 10 days. The doctor said there is a lot of it about. Had the flu job.

The worse is to come when the people who have been in the UK over the festive season return with all the UK bugs.

Cat has cat flu.
3 injections and 2 tabs.
Vet says there is lots of it around at the moment.

We have it here in the UK too. Father Christmas brought me a cold, my Christmas Morning drink was hot lemon with paracetamol, and a Covonia chaser, Ho Bl...…. Ho !

Four of us have it here too - and we've all had the flu jab. It's definitely not the flu though... I had it in January this year and it floored me for the best part of six weeks, hence why I was one of the first in the queue for the jab in October.
I started with a sore throat coming home on the bus from Blackpool on Thursday afternoon and two hours later, absolutely streaming then to completely stuffed up and a sinus infection, wheezing and chest and shoulder pains.
Stayed in last night hoping to feel better for our group night out in the club. The first New Year's celebration for our friends who returned to UK from Cyprus about 3wks ago.

Hmm correction to the above I am now having a glass of wine with my evening meal. As I am not on antibiotics it should be OK and .....I do like a drop of good wine (merlot)
