Just delicious: Lidl's large Gingerbread rounds + homemade Ginger tea

Just discovered that my home made Ginger tea, which I have every day, matches excellent with the Lidl Original Nuremberg large Ginger rounds ( the sugary ones ) dipped into the brew. (Germans are not aware that they contain Ginger, but a lot of cinnamon, nuts, and call them "Lebkuchen" which is a large and old tradition in my home town Nuremberg and big export business as well.) If you think to buy some at Lidl, be sure they are the large ones in a pack of 6 (3 sugary and 3 chocolate) for 1.99 Euro as the little one's on the same shelf are not special.

Bought recently bio-produced Ginger roots (Lidl) which come from Peru and not from China which I prefer much more. A piece of root, peeled, the length of your thumb, cut in very fine slices mixed with boiling hot water (1/2 l), 1 spoon of honey, 2-3 cloves, some lemon juice, 10 minutes leave to draw, ready.
