First time photographed...

I could not believe my eyes today when walking through a small forest that this time of the year orchids are growing......... This was a group of three, ca 50 cm high

It is called Ladies tresses ( spiranthes spiralis ) and looking at the net I can see that these ones are really nice spiral-shaped...

That is a lovely one. We didn't see any like that in the spring.

It looks like they are only Autumn orchids in Cyprus...

Indeed Shane, it is the second time this autumn that I discovered and photographed the amazing flora of Cyprus with the droughts we have these years. This was my last post a couple of weeks ago...
