Well someone must be paying the hosting service, or it would have been taken down I would have thought.

Having read through the web site, it seems to be giving the physical details of the place as part of a sales pitch.

Yes, you used to be able to rent it, I believe. Regarding the site, it is part of a bigger site run by Maximos Holdings. They may still own a Mall in Limassol. It is hard to say. I did contact them when I wrote the original blog and geocache series which I placed there, as I wanted to check it was ok. I didn't get any answer though.

If you do a whois of the domain name, you get the following:

Last updated in 2016, the site is registered until 2021. Somebody must be paying GoDaddy hosting fees though, presumably annually.

Interestingly the site wasn't actually created until 2004, which was some 6 years after the ranch was closed, judging by the litter we found the first time we visited. I can only presume maximosgroup.com was a rebrand of an existing site.

Soon I will do a blog showing how it has changed since our first blog. Some of our findings were quite a surprise!

I would imagine that Maximos was the family name, as the company itself seems very big.
