It is good to hear of companies that honour their warranties. But not all car sales places do. We suffered with one that didn't, but they are no longer in the Paphos area..
We bought private two years ago and the car has been fine.
We did get it checked out by OUR garage before doing the deal..

Talking about cars,i remember my wife phoning me many years ago in a panic,saying she was having trouble with her car as it had water in the carburetta..I said how do you know its got water in the corburetta.She said because,,,,,,,,,its in the lake.

Yes, it is primarily for the warranty. I have never had a problem with garages not honouring them. Also garages do have a reputation to maintain and wouldn't knowingly sell a "lemon". Yes. I know some do, but that is why I started this thread.

The main dealers have part exchange cars for sell, that's were many car lot sites get their stock, go ask them, many good deals to be had as the main dealer is primarily looking to get their money back.

Apparently the Nissan dealer does not have second hand cars to sell. I don't know what Nissan owners do when they want a new motor.
Maybe the showroom buy the second hand ones and they immediately go into the trade..

Recently sold my car on Bazaraki for a very good price within hours of posting. Dealers would only offer peanuts and I'm no monkey.
