Customs seize smuggled koupes

Officers at the Ayios Dhometios checkpoint customs department have seized and destroyed 200 frozen koupes, a meaty falafel, which were being smuggled from the north.The 200 koupes were found on Wednesday by checkpoint officers in the boot of the rental car driven by a resident of the Republic....

I love em just out of the frying pan, there's a place in larnaca,that only sells homemade Koupes and lokmathes...honey balls...

It’s all a bit pathetic really. Usually customs officers are looking for contraband items, drugs, booze and cigs and of course petrol tankers filled in the north and then heading south...
