Such sad news. He came across as a genuine and lovely man. Life is so fleeting and it certainly puts things into perspective.

Alan and I go back many years, he was on the admin on CL for a few years (as big Al) in its early days, I am truly shocked he has passed away, very sad news indeed although I know he was unwell, keep an eye on us up there Alan.

That is such sad news. I was wondering if he was ok since I couldn't remember him posting for some time. Glad he managed this trip to Paphos earlier this year.
