Take a Virtual Tour of Old Paphos

It has been several months in the making but we are pleased to announce that our new site on the Old Town of Paphos is now up and running! Now you can enjoy a virtual tour of over 200 panoramic images, and get lost in the winding streets as you take a virtual stroll. All that is missing is the aroma of souvlaki!

Have just had a quick peek Dominic, 'cos it's late at night. What an incredible achievement! I can only imagine how much time you have put into this. Well done!

Funniest thing was it kept growing. And there's still the area towards Muse that really needs to be added at some point. The biggest problem I had was the site that hosts the tour images. Their software doesn't cope very well with tours consisting of more than 60 images. So when it came to linking the images together it became a colossal pain. It's amazing how fast you can get at a process if you do it enough times though.

The idea of covering these archaeological excavations with clear perspex or glass in sturdy metal franes is to protect them from the elements. So difficult to get inside one without special permission.
