The Mall in Nicosia - tomorrow

If you're planning a trip to Nicosia and are visiting The Mall of Cyprus - please don't be alarmed.....

It's only a drill - but to be honest, I would be tempted to stay away.
Who knows what weapons people carry around with them in this day and age!

A large-scale terrorist-attack exercise, Deimos 2017, will be held at the Mall of Cyprus in Nicosia on Thursday in order to establish the degree of preparedness, response, and coordination of relevant departments.
The scenario will centre on a mock explosion and gunfire at a busy shopping centre, as well as people taken hostage by terrorists.

Yes, I'm inclined to agree with you Jacs.
Better to be well out of the way methinks.... especially if there's someone in the vicinity who's still got their old army weapon stored under the bed and hasn't read the news!
