Some elderly friends are looking for some of those arm covers you put on your settee or armchair, Anyone got an idea were you can buy them. 8-)
I started off with nothing and have most of it left !

I cannot believe where this memory came from but, . . . . . . . .are your friends looking for 'antimacassars????' I mean, where did that word even come from? 🤣

Antimacassars were the covers you put on the top of sofas. They were to stop the macassa hair oil getting on the material

Was that like the stuff my Dad used to put on his hair Trev? Bryl cream? I used to call it Brillo Cream when I was a bairn. :D

It was like Bryl cream, but an earlier version I think..
