Solar panel dance ... (pics)

I was wondering what on earth made this little praying mantis walking on this solar panel... nothing to eat there... but fancied a dance?



more likely a dance.... must be a teenager!

Great pix Max, your PM looks a hell of a lot healthier than mine did before he died. I do have the maroon dragon fly hovering around the pool today. And so many birds around, they all disappeared during the hot weather, now they want feeding and watering again. They are very melodious and playful.

Yes Aphrodite it is the time they start singing again.... but it is ashame that hunting will start soon and many of them will be shot as the hunters follow their songs....

I think I will stay with photographing only as I like good quality pics instead of a shaky video..but I was thinking about though in the past. To produce good photos is difficult enough.

Sound is also tricky with video. I have been experimenting with filming outdoors, and even the slightest gust of wind sounds like a gale if you aren't using one of those big fluffy mics.
