Post Office in Central Paphos

Post by galexinda »

The Department of Postal Services informs the public that as of October 15, 2018 the Pafos City Centre Post Office will offer services to customers at its newly renovated premises, at 2 Themidos Street, 8046 Pafos (in Pano Paphos near M&S Food Hall). The new premises are a distance of 100 metres from the current post office.

All P.O.Boxes will be transferred to new Pafos City Center Post Office and will maintain their current number and postal code.

The owners of the P.O. Boxes with numbers 60001 – 60100 will be given new keys, which can be collected from the new post office as of 15th October 2018.
The owners of P.O. Boxes with numbers 60101 – 60800 will continue to use their current keys.

I wonder if this will also have a citizens centre section?

I get to keep my present keys...the citizens section is there will be one there could well be situated in the District Administration building, next door. Just a guess. What worries me is the lack of parking outside and the fact that the side road is now fairly inaccessible.

Yes, thats the problem. Very little parking will be available. I guess the traffic wardens will have a bonanza issuing loads of parking tickets!
Pity they don’t leave that PO where it is now.

I am inclined to agree with you Kili01 ! I wonder now how we will ever manage to park outside - and the staff have similar problems (and will probably have to park in the sunken car park I expect!). At least the bus will get its bus stop back!

I wonder how long it will be until the side streets around there cease to be pedestrian only... in that case the traffic wardens would have a field day....
