And are you happy with the new regime whereby you will be paying tax in UK?

They owe MOH £250 Euros overpaid tax, requests for payment totally ignored, no wonder.

Stick with it. I did get my over payment eventually after I said I'd deduct it from the next instalment. However, go speak with the tax lady in the Gov offices & she'll advise what's best to do.

Yes Mike, sorry moved back to UK a few years ago.

I did keep in touch with the Tax Office, sending details of our new address, all the mail we sent was 'signed for', but no replies were ever received, or money.

So yes we have given up, it stinks really, as with most British tax payers in Cyprus, maybe we were too honest !

Clearly your EXIT tax! Thank you for your contribution on behalf of all us other suckers who pay to the last cent & then scream & shout when we're owed a refund.

Those who owe the tax are probably waiting for the tax dept to give them a discount if they pay their overdue taxes in the same way the vehicle tax dept. did a few years ago to those who hadn't paid their car tax by the due date.
