A man found floating unconscious in the sea off Lara beach on Friday afternoon was pronounced dead upon arrival in hospital, police said.
The man had gone spearfishing in the area, and at around 2 pm he was seen floating unconscious on the water.
He was transferred to the Paphos general hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigations continue to find out the cause of his death.
