Summer temperatures to remain this week

Post by Paphos Life »

There are no signs that the end of summer is any closer with temperatures this week higher than average for this time of the year.On Monday they will rise to 36C inland, 30 to 32C along the coast and 25C in the higher mountains, and during the coming days they will slightly increase, remaining above average over the weekend....

It was 33c on the car thermometer when we came back from town this afternoon. No breeze, unlike yesterday so have not been out on my walk. Yesterday was really pleasant walking, with a lovely breeze and lower humidity.

According to weatherunderground for Paphos Airport, tomorrow, and Wednesday will be the 2 hottest days. After that the temps should decrease gradually.
I tend to believe this as in my experience weatherunderground is usually pretty accurate.

I don't think the current temperatures are unusual for September. In my experience September is still very much summer (not autumn) and while the evenings are cooler, and with the shorter days means the pool temperature starts to drop, I don't find these day time temperatures unusual.
