Caritas Paphos - Can You Help?

Post by Dominic »

Caritas Paphos are our charity of 2018. Unfortunately, I received this message from them recently:
_____

Good morning Dominic, we had some sad news I am afraid. Our Latin Parish Hall was broken into and vandalised this week. Wendy just informed me. We keep some storage items in there for the refugees which have been damaged too. It highlights our need to find a more secure storage place.

The major need is for a larger space, anywhere in Paphos, for storing mainly clothes and uniform and gas bottles, some furniture items, that sort of thing. We would need regular access for picking things up and delivering. Relatively large space, secure of course! WE would be happy to come and check the spaces if anyone is not sure if their space will fit.
_____

If anybody can help, please contact Mary on 99 595385.

This is not good news, and I hope someone somewhere can help.. But from the post it seems that they want to store gas bottles, inside. I don't know the regulations but I would have thought that was not allowed..

Perhaps you should contact Mary and offer her some advice?

I shouldn't need to Dominic... I have never read advice about storing Gas canisters, but all the outlets I have seen selling them store them outside. It seems to me common sense .
Have you seen gas canisters store inside ?? ....
