Postcard From Ayia Napa

Post by Dominic »

We're all going on a summer holiday! Actually we've just got back from one. We've spent the last few days in Ayia Napa and naturally we took our cameras with us. So, for a change, here's a blog on the Eastern side of the Island. How did we find it? What were the beaches like? Did we "have it large"? Read on and find out...

Read the article and chat about it below...

Fabulous blog Dominic........the last time I was in Ayia Napa was May 2003 😩 like you I really was impressed, at the time it was very clean and tidy and had some very good restaurants.
The whole of that area was very interesting I’ll have to dig out my photos, I think another visit is on the horizon......😍

We really loved our few days in Syria Napa some years ago. So good at the time to have a completely "finished" resort with roads, pavements and buildings.
We had a lovely time in the town, on the beach and in the bars at night 😎

I think if we introduced a sobriety test the post count would go through the floor. :)

A brilliant blog. It has been a few years since we visited the area. Have to go back there and visit the sculpture park.

LOL, this is what happens when you post from your mobile..... usually anytime after about 7:30pm in the evening and before 10:00am in the morning.

I know I wrote Ayia but sometimes if I don't actually click on the word I want to type and go straight to the next word, yep - the phone puts its' own version of events.

But hey, we loved Syria too - been there 2 or 3 times :-)

Sadly, I fear it doesn't look the same now :-(

A lovely and very informative blog Dominic. Thanks. Around four years ago, in October, we stayed at the MyroAndrou Hotel Apartments. Do not know how we got it so cheap but we only paid €40 for three nights stay, through a company called otel. Had a lovely time. Found the three churches at Prenara very interesting.
