Re: Lidl
Just a warning a good friend of mine had his wallet and all his cash and cards lifted while waiting to pay for his items, a warning as no police were in the shop or area at the time so make sure you have all your cash and cards very safe. When open of course.

Re: Lidl
I always feel vulnerable to theft while in LIDLS, especially when browsing the special offers in the bins when the store is crowded.. I try to make sure that my bag is in front of me, where I can keep an eye on it, Better to be safe than sorry. But I would never take large amounts of cash in with me. Better to be safe than sorry!

Vicky, it has made the local news and in newspapers, also on some forums. I guess you cannot read everything, be warned they appear to be well organised.
Don't understand why people have not heard of this type of crime at Lidl's it has been going on for some time, usually with more than one perpetrator's, it has been posted in the local papers and news also on some forums, just be careful my mate lost a lot of cash and his Credit cards, sorting it all out he said was a nightmare, a few days before going abroad on a short trip.

Re: Lidl
Just wondering why this sort of activity is being reported in connection with Lidl. Is there some hidden agenda here as I am sure that such occurrences happen in other popular locations?JimX wrote: ↑Wed Aug 15, 2018 7:30 am Vicky, it has made the local news and in newspapers, also on some forums. My cameras were nicked when our car was parked at Sklavenitis. The general rule of thumb should be to be careful at all times.

Re: Lidl
Lidle has had a spate of problems of this nature, I never use the outlet myself but for sure I have heard of these criminal acts, my mate who was robbed said he talked to the manager and he did say this has happened before, I dare not post what he actually said and who he thought were the culprits. Anyway, you have been warned just because some may not have seen any postings on this as I have then be warned, it is obvious but keep your valuables very safe, especially when at the check out you may be distracted as my good friend was.

Re: Lidl
He won't go shopping there as he mentioned it in the past. Perhaps the reason is that it is a "Hitlerland" company who owns it. There are private security people present (TOTK) which I can see every Saturday. I wonder if Police is showing up at the places he is doing his shopping ..
