Carpet Cleaning..

I need suggestions as to where to take a large carpet square to be cleaned. I have tried the Vax machine which initially made it look good. But withing a week or two it is just as bad as ever.
So are there any places out there that do a really good job.. I can deliver the carpet, not problems.
Maybe a member has tried one or two places, and now knows 'The Best'

There is a large Laundry on the Steni road, might be worth giving them a try. If you take the Steni junction just of the Polis road at the Polis police station it is on the left just past the MOT centre.

We use a guy in Anavargos. Excellent service and reasonable prices. If you turn left (coming from Post Office) by little chapel, he is about 100mtrs on right hand side. There is usually a white van parked outside. If you need it I will try and find his number. We have our oriental rugs cleaned there and are very satisfied!

Hi Trev,
I use RCS based in Coral Bay. They are British, very good, and with good equipment. They clean our fitted carpets, plus our rugs, two of them are hand made and one is too big and heavy to move far! I can tell you that they have done ours several times over the years and I would thoroughly recommend them.
They come to the house with all their equipment. After cleaning, all are dry within hours. They can also Scotchguard them if required.
It is far more convenient than lugging rugs to a dry cleaners!

Thank you Dee for the detail in your post. I put the carpet square in the car this morning and as I was on Butcher Boy road I took it to Premium Cleaners there.
I will have to wait and see how good a job the make of it ..

I have just arranged for my two high quality rugs to go to RCS cleaners who specialise in cleaning rugs, carpets and upholstery. They do a really good job and also 'use Scotchgard afterwards which helps to repel any future stains and dirt.
