Brush fire prompted evacuation of Polis campsite in early hours

A fire that prompted the evacuation of the campsite on Dasoudi beach in Polis, Paphos, and threatened two homes, was extinguished around 4am Sunday, the fire service announced.Initial investigations showed the fire was started deliberately and police are investigating....

Thanks for the link, it does seem to have been a big fire.
I wonder if people lost there tents, caravans, and belongings? Nothing is mentioned of this in the article

Could it be anything to do with people who have a vested interested in the development of this site? They won’t have to wait until the end of the main tourist season.
