Stroumpi and Kathikas Water Supply

The main pipe from Kannivou Dam has sprung a huge leak, so if you have low pressure, that is the reason.

Doesn't Polemi also get their water from the pipe from Kannivou . Do you know where the leak is situated

Thanks Dominic, I have just check our cold main and it seems to be normal. But we will be on the pipe from Polemi going out towards Letymvou.

I was told it won't affect Polemi, so presumably the break occurred after the Polemi Junction.

Dominic, it went with a bang about 20m from your drive as an added bonus to the 3rd summer of drainage improvements generating a lovely fountain / pool top up higher than your neighbours oak tree. I’m told it also popped at the Kannaviou end.

I know. It also took out a big chunk of road. There was a bizarre sight of a digger almost floating in mid air, being kept out of the hole by it's shovel. They had to bulldoze soil and rubble from the next field to fill in the hole enough to let the digger escape.
