Garden furniture

Post by cloven »

Good Morning,
I am presently looking to buy Garden furniture in Paphos. I have been round most of the usual places but haven't found what I am looking for. Basically I am looking for a Bench and seat set like you would find outside pubs, and I wondered if any of you good folk would know of any places that stock and sell these? Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

We bought our stuff from Paphos Home Market

They have a big selection in the basement area.

Yes, nice friendly staff too. When you say pub furniture, do you mean UK pub or Cyprus pub? To me, UK pubs are synonymous with those big wooden picnic tables. Is that the sort of thing you mean?

They do sell wooden benches in Superhome & other shops but perhaps they haven't put the summer stock out yet. It's always worth asking if you're needing it now.

Yeah, perhaps I should have been more specific, it is indeed the big heavy picnic style table with the bench style seats as an integral part of the table. I intend to bolt it to the Patio to prevent anybody knicking it and, if they do manage to unbolt it, they will get possibly get a Hernia for their troubles carrying it down the path

Thanks for the replies and suggestions appreciate you guys taking the time, in the meantime the hunt continues, gets me out of the house if nothing else.

I have a vague recollection of seeing some picnic benches outside AA Homeflame on the Mesoghi avenue (Paphos-Polis road).

I think that this is the wrong time of the year! Most of the shops are in winter mode...
Usually, about a month before Easter all the shops who sell garden furniture will have their summer stock in and on display. If you can wait until March there should be much more choice of what is available.

If you are stuck, I have a ‘heavy duty’ wooden picnic table with 2 separate bench seats for sale. The 'benches' have wooden backs and It comes with removable cushions which have removable covers. It is in good condition BUT will need a wee bit TLC (varnish) Give me a call it you want a look. ........you would need a truck or twin cab to move it :)
Give me a call if interested 99714269
