Well done CYTA

Post by josef k »

I reported a fault on my landline last week. As it was the afternoon the pleasant customer service bod suggested they might not be able to fix it until the morning. First thing the next day a pleasant and knowledgeable tech arrived and fixed it. Not only that but he moved my service from the PSTN to VOIP, which is going to happen to us all it seems (if you don't understand that last bit, don't worry. It is just a techy thing us ex-BT nerds get excited about),

All in all, a very pleasant experience for me as a customer.

I called Cyta at 8.05am due to my internet cutting out, telephone assistant could not fix it online and said an engineer would be informed re the fault but may take 3 working days.
Got a call at 10.35am the same day saying the fault was theirs and had been fixed, even better it had and works well.

Also done a speed check and whilst I was paying for 20Mbps was only getting 10, however Cyta said could not resolve this matter but mysteriously now getting around 20Mbps.

The speed change may have been caused by a bit of your kit. I agree though, Cyta provide an excellent service.

Awhile a go I called CYTA and a really nice helpful engineer called to fix a problem. He asked me what speed I was paying for and I told him . He then replied that because of the distance from the nearest junction box to our house we would never get the speed we were paying for.

He suggested I ring customer services, explain the situation and they will give me a rebate. I rang. They were helpful and the rebate came off the next bill and the monthly charge was reduced accordingly.

Could not fault CYTA for the service.

Glad to hear nothing has changed with Cyta. We always had good customer service on the very few occasions we needed to contact them.
The only failing, if you could call it that was them not asking why we were switching to Primetel after being with them for over 7yrs.
They just simply accepted it, gave us all our necessary refunds and let us walk away.
