Always felt that his hands were tied over this and definitely a step backwards in the negotiation process now David Davis has resigned.

I just don't get the feeling it's all quite as strong and stable as they would have us believe...

Why was a ratified cabinet approach not agreed 2 years? If it had been and Davis hadn’t believed in it, he could have gone then and someone more able to negotiate the UK needs could have gotten us further along. It is now a monumental f*** up of the highest order. We are playing with people’s futures here.

I think May will be replaced and most likely with Hunt. I dont see a general election and I dont see Corbyn getting in. Even if he did, the Labour Party would have the same Niall-outs and splits with no agreement.

This entire porocess was wrongly set from day 1. There should never have been a simple yes or no vote. It should have defined what it meant to leave the EU and if still a majority backing leaving customs union etc. Then it could have been delivered more easily and quickly.

I believe in democracy and the vote said to leave, but I also believe democracy should allow the country to decide on whether the leave terms are acceptable, due to the conflicts involved. This is far too important for the country to make mistakes.

The problem is Jim even if it was a vote to leave union and customs etc. there would still be some who would say people didn't understand what they were voting for etc. It was never going to be easy with both sides firmly entrenched. I'm not so sure about Corbyn losing an election though. If he did win would Remainers be happy because he would likely block Brexit or would they be worried because the country would go down the pan? As I said earlier, a tough choice and hopefully one which will never happen.

All very worrying, seems they just cannot agree on anything.

Corbyn as PM ? Why would anyone in a right mind vote for a person who counts terrorists among his friends !

It would give those wanting a soft/no Brexit just what they wanted though. But what a price to pay.

It beggers belief that after Cameron and May have created complete chaos in the UK with no one having a clue as to what the future holds people still trot out the Daily Mail spin on Corbyn. Can he really make any bigger cock-up than the incompetent fools currently running or ,actually, not running the country? Bring on a General Election and see what what the voters think of the Tory's ability to put right the mess they have created

Can he really make a bigger cock up, probably not, but it's his political beliefs and ethics that bother me. No thank you, he has admitted that he has terrorists as friends, that's no spin, it's true.

I think you need to read up more about Corbyn and his long standing views on violence and illegal acts of groups from all sides of conflicts and I am sure he would not have bought support from a Northern Island political party steeped in it's support of the UVF and one of the most bigoted group of politicians around.

Lol some of us do more than read the Daily Mail and its a resounding yes as to whether he can make a bigger cock up. Just think the dark days of the 1970's and magnify it. That should give you some idea of just how bad things would be under Corbyn and his bunch.

Varky

As far as I'm aware, Pinochet didn't arrange the killing and maiming of British men, women and children on their own soil, didn't torture and murder our Armed Forces personnel, the I.R.A DID.
