All you have to do is wait for the tide to come back in and refloat it!

Great pictures Lincoln. Looks as if it is secured and I'm sure most of the equipment was removed when the sailors were rescued. Not an easy place to retrieve the yacht and probably the insurance company is busy negotiating with the authorities as it does look as if it is salvageable (rather than being written off as a total loss).

Do the laws of salvage apply here?

By 'secured' I was referring to the fact that the port lights and main entrance door are closed, meaning no one can get inside the cabin and remove items. As Hudswell says, it looks as if the yacht is just resting on the seashore and so in the event of strong winds may drift and become a hazard.

Jim Sea's have a small tide or large tide it is called the moon. The gravity pull affects all large waters.

That puts it to bed once and for all on Jim's theory of no tides.

:D well as he is a local ships Captain has the license needed, and a fisherman too and a Cypriot, I trust what he says about tides here not what you may say, but do not take our word for this just go to any local beach stand in the sea you will find it does not come in or go out in any tidal way, try it!

If you feel that this unfortunate yacht will be refloated on the tide then you will have a very long wait.
