Israel plans to relieve Gaza isolation by building port in Cyprus (Update)

Government on Tuesday confirmed that Israel has proposed to build a port for Gaza in Cyprus, but that Nicosia has yet to respond....

WHAT a a load of polical cosh. Are we supposed to believe that Israel will allow freedom of any sort on goods, being sent into Gaza?

Israel will never create any form of tree trade with Palestine. They dont want Gaza to exist and the sooner they can remove it....

The Cyprus government shouldn't touch this with a barge pole. It will be a bit of Israel in all but name, with all the associated problems.
