Can you not just make your own? It's very simple and you can buy frozen rhubarb here which i guess would be as good as fresh?

It should be straight forward to make, I did chilli vodka last year which was very warming in the winter months! ;)

Drifting ever-so slightly off topic, with all that wonderful fresh fruit cheaply available in Cyprus, why not consider distilling some Hungarian-style fruit brandy, (pálinka)? Similar to Zivania, but smoother and not as rough...

Plum Brandy - Szilva Pálinka
Cherry Brandy - Cseresznye Pálinka
Apricot Brandy - Sárgabarack Pálinka
Pear Brandy - Körte Pálinka
Apple Brandy - Alma Pálinka

Made properly, with usual home-brewing kit, they all turn out beautifully clear and ready for bottling. Strength is usually 40º abv or more, and it makes a wonderful after dinner / coffee apperitiff!

Yiamas! AL ;)
