Disruptive passengers are not exceptional circumstances when EJ have a legal duty of who they allow on board and the state they are in. (Its not hard to work out who is under the influence of drink/drugs when waiting to board), they also have a duty of care to the other passengers and crew on board.
The crew also have legal duties about supplying alcohol to those on board and also in not allowing those on board not to sneakily drink so called duty free alcohol whilst in flight. It is easy enough to spot IF the crew are doing their job rather than been lazy or cannot be bothered to do anything about it till its to late.
I accept it is not easy to step in and take charge of the situation but at the end of the day they are trained and paid to do that (as well as lots of other things)
Anybody heard of Skycop?

I don't think it is easy to spot. Whoever does this obviously does it under cover, and there are many times when the cabin crew are very busy serving food and drink on a large aircraft..

Plus, somebody could down a bottle of vodka before the flight and not show much affect until an hour later.

Re: Anybody heard of Skycop?
We were on an EJ flight 2 years ago and there were many squaddies, they were very loud and abusive shouting I ef...... Cyprus and were very worst for ware.
Ej Let them on the flight and then on taxiing on the runway was abandoned 2 passengers were removed and in my opinion not the worst.
I have never felt so embarassed by our military the language in front of children was disgusting. EJ should have spotted this and in all fairness was plain to see.

How do you prove the passenger was under influence before they boarded? It’s a difficult one.
