My wife asked me about betting on the world cup. I explained as follows...........If , say, England were 12 to 1 to win and you bet £10 ....you would lose £10.

I've had a small bet & my 4 teams are :- Spain, Portugal, England & Belgium.
I'm hoping at least all 4 will get through the group stages then anything can happen.

So far, the Portugal V Spain game has been the highlight and Germany and Brazil have disappointed. Iceland had a tremendous result and so far, only Ronaldo of the super 3, has influence a game.
ShouLed be an interesting World Cup now.
