Last time I looked Britain was already independent. What the lazy politicians didn't do is enact laws that the EU allows which gave the UK effectively an open border to benefits (I saw this even being advertised in a Cyprus Real Estate brochure advocating why one should buy a Cyprus passport to get access to the UK) which eventually gave us 52% of people voting to leave the EU. Such a shame but hey ho.
