Full English Anyone?
Re: Full English Anyone?
Actually, the frankfurter is probably better than what passes as English sausages here.
Re: Full English Anyone?
I have had a few English breakfasts in my time here, and almost all of them have been good. The Cypriots do tend to under cook the bacon ... I can't remember ever having a frankfurter served up for sausage though.
For the price most of them have been Value for Money.. Pap's do one for €2. and you can pay up to €4-95 at various other tavern'a / cafe's.
Some hotels will allow you to go in for a (eat all you can) buffet breakfast for around €5.

Worst English Breakfasts I ever saw were in Nepal. Utterly disgusting. They would half cook the eggs at 6AM then reheat when serving, so you would get a fried egg cooked on the outside but raw in the middle. "Bacon" would be chopped up leftovers, and the potato thing was equally foul. Merely thinking about it again is making my stomach grimace.
