Sad to say.....I offered mine to a number of Charity Shops in the area, to be told "no thanks. There's just no demand for them since the advent of DVD's.

As you say....mine went in the green bin at the end of the road

Nobody's interested. Actually, that's not strictly true. If you are prepared to go through recycling bits, you may also be prepared to check each one on eBay. Some videos, especially kid's ones and horror, are more collectable than others.

In the UK before we came over, I had to take a large quantity to the dump, as I couldn't give them away to anybody.

You could use them as bricks and build that garden cupboard you always wanted. Skim some render inside and out and who would know.

I have a friend who likes to record programmes/films on to old VHS tapes, so give me a call on 26 100 197 (Kissonerga)
