Words fail me.Itisfun wrote: ↑Tue Apr 24, 2018 4:37 pm What makes these "Asylum seekers" think they are entitled to homes and incomes when they arrive out of the blue. They fully expect to be welcomed and settled on arrival Sadly it will never happen. Maybe these people should think of others. Also could the High Commissioner for Refugees tell thousands of British people why they are on waiting list for a home after 6/8 years.
What do you mean, they should think of others? They fled for their lives to escape a nightmare. I would imagine that was the biggest thing on their mind. Not whether or not they might offend some over-privileged expat.

During WW2 here in UK were at risk of being overrun by the Germans , everyone , virtually ., fought in one way or another to save our country , we didnt run away and expect someone else to keep us ., if the country these so called asylum seekers are from is so bad let them fight to change it

This thread is turning from bad to worse... shameful views by some!
Re: Asylum-seekers at real risk of homelessness
If a war displaces you and you can get away then do it supported by others and the UK. But in to many cases it is an excuse for others to try and get to the promised land. We also have to look if the economy can support the people. NHS 50% IN 80% out. My country is on its bleeding knees because we are letting to many in. I PAY INTO THE SYSTEM AND GET FORK ALL FOR IT. My Mum with cancer waits behind an African in the doctors. Its shite and I'm angry about this crap.

I'm locking this thread before it gets overrun by small-minded idiots with no humanity. And if you don't like it, find another forum to post your horrible views. They are not welcome here.
