Post by Dominic »

I am in the process of adding a Fitness and Weight Loss section to the directory. If you have any recommendations of gyms, fitness or weight loss groups / centres, please post below.

Thanks

Supplier for Gyms equipment with shop in Paphos on the main road towards where the highway ends, just 200 m before the Esso petrol station and 500 m before AlphaMega. (Dimokratias 27). Director: Anastasis Charalambous, 26 101 020, mobile 96 421 343, www.eshopforsports.com
emails: [email protected] - [email protected]
So if one want's to have the equipment at home instead to visit a Gym than this is the right shop to go.

I was thinking to buy a upright bike http://www.eshopforsports.com/products/ ... right-bike but I am unsure if it is good for me as I have a spine problem at C4 and was reading somewhere that biking is not good for you in this case...

Hubby goes every day to Platinum Gym in Mesoyi and thoroughly recommends it. However I will never be able to verify this!!!

Sorry guy,s but yes, joining a gym and getting plenty of exercise will keep you fit and help a "little" with burning off a few calories, but you will never beat a knife, fork and spoon for weight loss....oh dear

The one on the Polis Road above D&N Vets & before the roundabout looks like just a gym!

What roughly is the cost of gym membership in Cyprus. Mine in Wales at the council gyms is £19 per month, but cheaper because of my heart operation. I had to go supervised for the first ten sessions, which cost £3 but can now go by myself.

When I was out riding my bike in February I spoke to one guy who told me he paid €100 per month for the gym and swimming at one of the top hotels. This would be prohibitive for me.

Wife goes to one in larnaca, 60e a month but it gets cheaper the longer you book, this includes a large indoor pool, all yoga ,,,pilates ,,,sauna,,etc etc classes included, I know its not Paphos but gives you some idea of costs
