Are you saying Marios repairs TV's? that is news to me, I see Marios fairly often so I will ask the question, he is though a great repairman for domestic repairs, I have used for years always for domestic repairs, although not Televisions mind never had any problems with my TVs thankfully.

I also think Lloyd it is your TV remote signal receiver. Only a guess mind. Have you more than one Sony TV? as remotes often work on same make TV. My Samsung TV remote works also on my Samsung 32" Computer monitor. Good luck with it!.

I have sent Marios an email he will confirm he does repair TV's or not.

As posted Lloyd it probably is the TV receiver as the remotes are working.

I have not so far received an email from Mario's to confirm or deny he repairs TV's, as far as was aware he doesn't do this kind of work, but we should find out sooner or later, Lloyd as you are seeing him soon maybe you could ask, please.

I don't blame you for not taking that size TV to the repair shop, always best to let them pick it up, may save your back, and or damage to your TV..
