Early this morning I went into my pool house and after opening the door I nearly stepped on this ....

and if one thinks the scorpion is only active in high summer then you are wrong. It tried to run away ever so fast until I caught it with a net... so mind when you are gardening they could be already around and it won't be that pleasant if you get stung. This one is ca 5 cm long
