Sadie, is your TV box hard wired to your router via ethernet cable, or are you relying on WiFi for this vital connection?

Our tv package isn’t from SOS but we are having problems. Late last night the connection problem sign came up and we couldn’t change to another channel. Been out all today and evening but on switching on half an hour ago while we have tv, no catch up programmes or films/box sets,
Have rebooted but makes no difference, we have an Ethernet connection. All iPads, phones seem to be working ok.
Suppose I’ll head off to bed with my book instead and see what happens tomorrow.

It’s hard wired think it’s an issue with the tv package supplier

There is a problem with one supplier, I contacted SS yesterday and was told this was due to ongoing maintenance, be patient before moving to another IPTV seller. Although it says "connection problem" then freezes this has nothing to do with your Internet server, but the suppliers IPTV service.
I'm sure this problem will be sorted very soon.

The reason the name of that company is blocked is because they were serial spammers on this forum and were abusive when told to stop. If you want to plug them, please do so on a different site.
This is the last time I am going to say anything about this. I am quite happy for people to use the company in question, I just don't want them promoted here. Talk to SOS, they will be able to help.

What issues are you having, we have no reports of any problems, except with 2 primetel customers.
Normally if I have a system issue, I get calls from all over europe - I have not had any so far.
Please send me us an email to [email protected] to let us know what the issue is so we can help resolve it.

On facebook there are numerous reports of general internet problems with Primetel at the moment.

Our TV was back to normal last night with all channels and video club working, hopefully it was just a blip.

Last night's problem was with Primetel though, it wasn't an IPTV fault.

The Primetel problem was Wednesday. Your problem was tuesday, or is it still ongoing?

We have the same problem. Connection problem but internet is working. Sometimes off for several hours.SS is aware and says things are being updated. This has never really been right since it came back on air. We are hard wired.

In answer to Dominic’s query, all was ok last night but having just checked now we have tv and catchup but no films or box sets, just getting the file missing msg. Maybe it is just a case of updating on the system. Don’t usually watch tv until evening so will see what happens when I switch on after dinner.

Pleased to say all IPTV service up and running last night, just checked again and everything is good.
