Although Trump has questioned the "deal" I do believe it is still going ahead...and come on Lloyd, Mrs May is doing very well...the US has always been close to the UK and the knowledge that there is a post Brexit deal waiting to be struck will only strengthen the UKs corner in the forthcoming EU negotiations..and that is certainly not a bad thing.

A deal with the US has a cost. May went there to invite US companies to come looking around the NHS. That may be the price not worth paying. Nothing about healthcare USA is enticing.... losing the NHS is a nightmare scenario that only Tory ministers would laud....

Trump will make a great President, agreed he's a bit rough around the edges but he's never been a corrupt career politician.
Every time I see the man on TV, even with poor press coverage, I think what a great man he is. The man is a hero to millions of Americans and they love his hatred of terrorists.
I'm sure he'll serve a second term.
I think the only people who do not like him are the limp wristed, leftie luvvies who get their panties in a twist over Brexit...but there are a few of them on this forum.

I am not a Trump fan, far from it...but there is an hysteria in the press that is whipping up a frenzy against him, more content with making the news than actually reporting it...that is the nature of 24 hr "reporting" it is the news we should be more afraid of...

I think Trump has learned from Putin. Don't bother to debate. Simply threaten, and lie.
If you get a journalist who disagrees, you shoot him. (just look how many dead journalists there are in Russia during the past half-dozen years.)

I seem to remember a post on CL from someone living in Germany telling exactly that, they were experiencing problems caused by immigrants rioting and looting shops, which was not being reported in the media.

Maybe that person was telling lies, but somehow I think not. Are we really to believe that politicians are honest all of a sudden.
