Sounds like you need a nice kind fellow PL member to buy a pack and freeze them for you, brengreen.

Then you collect and pay, via previous PM arrangement? Sorry I cannot help with this, as I'm in UK

Alternatively- here's a recipe:

This small bakery produced very nice ones this Easter: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=271&p=17785&hilit=p ... ery#p17785

Perhaps when they reopen after their Easter break you could order some from them... worth to try, I liked them a lot.

Flossie wrote: Tue Apr 10, 2018 7:08 am Good idea in theory Al, but I'd not recommend freezing them for THAT long!!

If you can get TV Catch up there was an episode of GBBO where they made them!
That would only be for 7 days Flossie........................

Why would your dentist be happy? Isn’t the main ingredient cheese

Well, I may have some news for you.

Flaouna is a cheese-filled pastry from the island of Cyprus, which may include raisins or be garnished with sesame seeds. Flaounes are traditionally prepared for Easter by Orthodox Greeks

We had them given to us by different neighbours, some good, some not so. Obviously people have recipes that differ.
