Just use the link I posted. You can complain about your order that way.

If you still don't get any joy, then email [email protected]

Go through the channels first, but if they fail, and you can show they have failed, Jeff wants to know about it.

I got a £25 voucher because of my troubles, plus the usual Prime extensions.

I was told by my Fedex person that their nearest "office" is in Limassol. They send drivers out from there. My package had been given to the Paphos driver. When he phoned and asked for a non-PO Box address, and I said Polemi, he told me he had to send it to another driver who covered Polemi.

Whether their Limassol office is actually a desk in a TNT office, I couldn't tell. It might well be. :)

Well this is strange as up until mid last year, I always had to collect Amazon deliveries (DHL) from ACS. Then I got a phone call one day and the guy said he was in Tala and could he deliver my parcel. The next 3 deliveries were all delivered to my door with a phone call beforehand. So I assumed there had been a change in policy?

Jeanne morning.

Only last week ACS just called me to say DHL has delivered a parcel to them so please come and collect it, several times I have asked why they do not do door to door as they are paid to do, but as posted all I get is the usual Cyprus shrug. :) it is really difficult to park by ACS office and if your parcel is heavy then you may have problems.

I did indeed go to collect my parcel from ACS. yesterday (Friday). As Jim says there are double yellow (no parking) lines outside the office.
However I have contacted amazon by phone today, I think the representative was in India. After explaining the dilemma, I ended up with a refund of the P&P and the expedited delivery charge...
I have filled in (on line) a form, expressing my thoughts about having to travel 30km to collect a parcel I have paid to have delivered. But I know things will not change... :-(

Do I understand correctly that the problems is only when buying from Amazon? I bought online from another company and the goods were delivered by DHL to my home.

Yes but they tell me (DHL) that they deliver door to door if sent via say a UK outlet, but DHL send all Amazon stuff to ACS in Pafos, they do not usually do a door to door service, so they tell me each time I ask, infuriating, and why personally use the German Amazon pay for fast shipping and they always use UPS, way to go maybe?

I seem to recall having to collect my passport from Paphos. As my house doesn't have a letterbox I was ok with this.

I too had my passport sent the the ACS offices. I didn't have a problem collecting that, as there are security issues..

Plenty of items come recorded delivery to my door by UPS .

The high commissioners office clearly state your passport will be delivered to your addresss in Cyprus.

You can not get more secure than delivering to your door .

And the thread is about DHL parcels not being delivered.

I have this morning sent a message to DHL in the UK explaining what happens when one of their parcels arrives at ACS in Paphos. I have asked if they can make sure parcels are delivered..

Guess who knocked on my door today , the DHL delivery man .

I had ordered a small kitchen item from Amazon uk last week , chose standard delivery , so expected it to come by post .

Absolutely gob smacked !!!!!

The package did have "prime" on it , I am not registered for it . So perhaps that makes a difference ?
